The Adige Valley Cycle Path
2nd stage: from Meran to Trento
The stage from Meran to Trento is 98 km long and has a lot of extraordinary sights in store. The castles around Bolzano are not only a jewel in the landscape from afar, some of them can also be visited. Lake Caldaro in the south of South Tyrol is a popular meeting place, especially in summer, and offers you the opportunity for a refreshing swim. We continue through the impressive Trento landscape to the city of Trento, which is well worth seeing!

June 21, 2026,Fragsburger Wasserfall 🇮🇹
AUFI, AUFI!
To the highest waterfall in South Tyrol🤩

Today we had to overcome over 500 meters of altitude. In the end, it was the best bike tour so far🫠
And again, the slow ascent was a pleasure.

However, we walked the last 650 m to the waterfall because the ground didn't feel entirely safe to me.

Showing Translation

At 135 m, the Fragsburg Waterfall is South Tyrol's highest waterfall (in free fall). The access is mainly via asphalt roads with a few switchbacks, only the last section is a path with loose rubble.
The viewing platform of the waterfall is at approx. 790 m.
