The tour starts in Birgsau/Oberstdorf. Birgsau can be reached in around 20 minutes by bus number 7 from the bus station in Oberstdorf. The bus station is right next to the train station in Oberstdorf, which is very easy to reach via Munich or Ulm.

First day of our three-day hut tour🏚️ with "only" nine kilometers - but extremely sweaty🥵 with a measly 1,100 meters of altitude starting in Birgsau at the Alpe Eschbach and sunny, hot☀️ temperatures.

From Einödsbach it went straight uphill, so that the first drink stop was necessary at the Petersalpe.
