May 12, 2023,Thunersee and Brienzersee
A ride of two halves. The route around Brienzersee is beautiful. It even has waterfalls to add interest. But the same cannot be said for Thunersee. Lots of busy roads with fast traffic. Poor signage so frequently had to stop to check the route. Oh and it rained too. Still we made it around both lakes. I think we'd recommend …
The road to Grosse Scheidegg is truly spectacular and a part is closed to traffic. The postal bus passes by with a nice little tune as a horn. The mountains of the Oberland, breathtaking. Thun is spectacular as is the circumnavigation of the lakes
