If you consider what beautiful routes there are in Switzerland...I can't recommend the outward journey to Lake Constance...too much traffic through cities and commercial areas. The return journey is all the more pleasant...car-free directly along the Rhine... Initially a lot of cyclists on the road.... later less frequented.
