October 29, 2024,Lago di Bolsena – Lungolago Montefiascone Runde von Capodimonte
It's more of a gravel tour! Beautifully chilled, rode alone on most of the paths and roads. We love this lake.

The larger part of the beautiful lake can be circled on the shore at water level. In two places I wished for a motor for the first time.🤣
Somewhere along the lap I ran into the front tire a little, but the air just barely held to the shelter.
So the next thing to do is patch the hose.

A truly enjoyable tour around Lake Bolsena, the beaches deserted, nothing going on, how beautiful 😊 short detour to Capodimonte and Montefiascone, both of which were so beautifully situated on the way.

Another circumnavigation of Lake Bolsena already done of which I refer you to the description.
This one differs only for a small stretch in the woods after Bolsena where you have to cross a stream and take a nice single track uphill in the woods and then do a piece of the Cassia Antica partly still paved with stone.

Today I borrowed an e-bike to circle Lake Bolsena. It was great fun and the beaches are an extra treat. I'll cut another video at home.
Montefiascone, Marta and Capodimonte are each beautiful villages.
Below is a 10 minute video, let me know what you think:

A great tour around Lake Bolsena with @Günter60 as a local guide. Günter has known Lake Bolsena for 40 years and is knowledgeable. We met a few pilgrims along the way. No surprise, given that the tour largely follows the St. Francis Way (from Canterbury to Rome) and leads along beautiful paths, with blooming meadows on both sides, and sometimes …
