We continue through the Rhine delta, the largest freshwater delta in Europe. The weather is mixed. However, the small rain showers are bearable due to the pleasant temperature. We …

The Rhine was flowing around 2000 cubic meters per second this afternoon, four days ago at 2:30 p.m. in Diepoldsau. “We were expecting 2,400 cubic meters per second,” says Ralph Dietsche on the phone. With these quantities, the flood protection dams have not reached their limits. Their capacity is 3100 cubic meters per second.
