Single track a bit technical but doable when dry. Not recommended after rain because slippery. From here you get to the Cala Violina car park

Trail n° 3 beautiful and pedalable with a couple of more technical passages but suitable for everyone that connects to more technical and demanding trails. (Guardian-Torretta- the Sentinel etc.)

Beautiful trail that connects with the Torretta, The Guardian, The Sentinel and other trails. Really very beautiful and smooth, only in some places short more technical passages but still suitable for everyone.

August 27, 2024,🇮🇹 #2 Meertrail Cala Violina — Giro ad anello "Monte Stella" 🥵🥵 mit "Lost Place" im Wald
..incredibly beautiful high-altitude trail along the coast. The pictures speak for themselves. The elevation gain at 34C was a bit sweaty though. On the way back, I accidentally discovered a "lost place" in the middle of nowhere in the forest. .... and cracked the 8,000 KM mark on my "new bike". ;-)

Beautiful round. Ways in good shape! Mosquito spray would have been helpful 😀

The tour starts directly from the Baia Verde campsite along the familiar, fun Le Api Trail – a rolling entry through shady maquis with a fine forest floor and a natural flow.
🛑 Note: The turnoff at Poggio Casello is not rideable! Dense vegetation and thorns – it's best to stay on the main trail.

Interesting tour from the book Tuscany Trails. You can safely skip the S5 section and the following S2 (more like S4). This is an overgrown former trail, not rideable. Lots of loose stones, rubble and branches.

Today, in the most beautiful spring weather, we completed a wonderful final lap. We started at the Puntone di Scarlino marina.
