Main floodplain near Sulzbach

Highlight • Trail

A well-developed gravel path leads you through the Main floodplain past green meadows, sometimes through open sections, sometimes through shady forest. The Sulzbach, which flows into the Main nearby, babbles next to you.

Main Riverside Park, Obernburg

Highlight • Rest Area

Beautifully landscaped bank area with family-friendly facilities, children's playground and much more such as tables with benches that invite you to rest. Unfortunately, the view of the other side of the bank is somewhat clouded by the local industrial complex.

Main River Cycle Path Near Wörth

Highlight • Cycleway

The cycle path goes directly along the Main. Very relaxed driving as there are no gradients, just a bridge every now and then

July 7, 2024,Tour of Aschaffenburg - 1. Etappe: Brettflacher Wiedereinstieg nach 2 Wochen Krankheit
To mark the start of my summer vacation in Aschaffenburg and for me to actually ride a bike again for the first time after an infection that really took its toll on me, I chose this beautiful, flat route along the Main today. Highly recommended!

May 21, 2022,Klingenberg
After the small mountain tour in the morning, we drove a little further in the direction of Klingeberg and then along the Main on both sides. The weather was still really nice in the afternoon.

Showing Translation

Unfortunately, the beginning wasn't so easy, as the cycle path in Erlenbach was closed due to two construction sites and no one thought it necessary to put up a detour for cyclists.

Showing Translation

Spontaneously the 1st tour this year in bright sunshine
