June 22, 2025,Die Taunus, Rhein und Lahn Collection - 4. Limburg an der Lahn - Wetzlar an der Lahn
We started today's pleasant 33-degree tour from Limburg to Wetzlar an hour early.

The tour along the Lahn River is very idyllic. Canoeists can be seen along the entire route. It's always beautiful, especially considering the activities before, in, and after the locks.

April 20, 2025,Ostersonntag Bike Tour
By bike from Weitershausen to Niederweimar. There I took the train and cycled to Limburg an der Lahn. From there I cycled along the beautiful Lahn cycle path all the way to Wetzlar. The route from Limburg to Weiöbueg is very nice to cycle, from Weilburg to Wetzlar it is partly nice; you just have to cycle along the B49 …

This time we first took the train to Limburg and from there the Lahntalradweg back. The sun was sizzling on us on the way, but we sweetened it with a delicious ice cream in Runkel and a longer break at Willis boat rental in Fürfurt

Today on the public holiday along the Lahn 👍 first piggyback tour with bike rack, everything held up, the bikes aren't runners I like 😅 As expected, there was a lot of hustle and bustle on the Lahn, father's day cars and of course cyclists too. 😥 And not everyone knows what they're doing 😅😅 😅 From Limburg we went …

Today's second part of our short trip to the Lahn was characterized by the cycle path, which was almost exclusively very close to the river. Cycling with constantly changing impressions (canoeists, lock operation, tent camp, campsites, great natural landscapes) was great fun. 👍
The highlights were undoubtedly the fortress in Runkel and the impressive cathedral and the old town of …

On day 5 we went from Solms-Oberbiel to Runkel.
Our two kids (6+8) managed this route without any major problems! Big praise and 2 scoops of ice cream in Runkel!
In large parts, the LTR runs directly along the Lahn and has been the most beautiful section of the route so far.

A varied MTB day tour in pleasant summer weather, on the right bank of the Lahn from Weilburg to Limburg and on the left bank of the Lahn back again.
The route mainly went along the idyllic Lahn slopes over trail-heavy sections of the Lahn hiking trail and the Lahn high trails.

After the way there follows the way back. So today back from Limburg to Wetzlar. There isn't much to report that the route was the same as yesterday. Unfortunately we had a very strong headwind for the last 35 km. And the last 10 km shortened compared to away because the route from komoot around the lake was underwhelming. Respect …
