This is the most convenient starting point for doing the Marenca route instead of the classic Via del Sale. Slightly more difficult but nothing complicated, in a pub and totally fun!! Recommended

August 18, 2023,05 - Seconda parte dell'Alta Via del Sale
The second part of this beautiful mule track is decidedly less difficult than the first, but no less beautiful.
You can go down to the stupendous Upega (at the exit ticket office) or continue towards Monte Saccarello to arrive at the La Terza refuge, where we pitched our tent.
