Great view of the Swabian Alb.
The path goes along the edge of the forest for a while. This is where the Schönbuch begins.

View of the Swabian Jura

Highlight (Segment) • Viewpoint

Why this highlight is called "Schaichtal" is not really clear to me. The position given is rather the edge of the forest on the ridge between the Schaichtal and Neckar valleys.
From there, however, it goes north down into the Schaichtal and if you climb the Betzenberg on the other side of the Schaichtal, you will also reach the Aichtal in this way.
Aich and Schaichtal offer cyclists something for every need. The valleys can be navigated upstream or downstream with a fairly moderate and constant incline from Nürtingen via Waldenbuch to Schönaich or from Neuenhaus to Dettenhausen and offer challenging trails and climbs at any time by taking one of the many junctions to the right or left and then either up in the direction of Fildern or up in the direction of Schlaitdorf, Walddorf or Dettenhausen. The valleys are in the middle of the Schönbuch nature park with a dreamy landscape, beautiful flora and fauna and a few small, romantic lakes and ponds.

Sulz Oak

Highlight • Natural Monument

The tree I did not notice when driving past, because everything is overgrown on the roadside. The sign "natural monument Sulzeiche" but then I noticed in the corner of my eye. Immediately reversed to see what is there. And then, what a gigantic tree.

Evangelical Church Häslach

Highlight • Religious Site

The Häslacher church is a two-nave church in neo-Romanesque style, built in 1899/1900 according to the plans of the famous church architect Baurat interpreter, Stuttgart.

Made entirely of local sandstone, the building is decided to the east by the tower, to the west by the sacristy. The construction direction was chosen to "present the church in the best light from the main street of the village and give the whole village a stately look from a distance".

Of the then 470 inhabitants counting community, the church was built in just 19 months construction period.
