Really nice tour, varied, some steep sections, nice trails, beautiful views, easy to ride with the E-MTB, at times there was heavy loose gravel to cross, not so easy to ride with thin tires and without a battery.

The start was at the large parking lot in Vorderriss; the first few kilometers are on a gravel path uphill through the forest. Then it continues through a spectacular landscape along the Isar River. In glorious weather, you can recharge your batteries with food and drinks in Mittenwald's lovely old town.

Unfortunately, I can't upload all the photos. I don't know if it's due to the poor internet connection. I'll upload them later.

Thanks to the Bike Bahnhof in Mittenwald for the great bikes from the bike rental

Personally, as a cyclist, I would only do this route out of season or during the week. I imagine being stressful when hikers come towards me all the time. And vice versa, of course. Am a …

As is often the case in the Alps, this tour also started with a never-ending climb, which then got really steep as a reward at the end (strangely enough, Komoot doesn't show the correct 24% incline). But the cows on the Fischbachalm greeted us a little more intrusively than we would have liked 😝
The Soiernweg that came afterwards is …
