When the water level is normal, it is not a problem to walk over the stones and cross the stream. Up to the upper part of the gorge there are several crossings that arouse enthusiasm, especially among children.

Yesterday we took a trip to the nearby Black Forest. It was really great walking through the gorge. In summer it must be a really cool experience.
Make sure you wear good shoes with a good profile.

The tour started with a walk into the Monbachtal. The very rocky and varied path through the valley was very beautiful. There are so many little things to see and paths to walk. Finally done, because the tour was the first where I saved. The tour itself was difficult because it was very exhausting to walk on stones and roots. But really nice 👍

Today we went to Bad Liebenzell, because here I put together a round tour a long time ago because of the Monbach Gorge, which I now want to have done from the list.
The Monbach Gorge is super beautiful and forever long, but unfortunately Liebenzell Castle is closed during the winter months. Tour was still nice 😊

The path to Liebenzell Castle leads through a moss carpet forest, again this great green 😊 and then the first disappointment at the castle... the tower is closed at 4.30 p.m. …
