Narrow streets and narrow, high houses characterize the medieval old town of Diessenhofen. As a thoroughfare leads through the old town, be careful with the bike.

The short detour across the bridge is worth it. Immediately after the bridge, turn left to a parking lot. You'll be rewarded with a wonderful view of the Schaffhausen riverbank and the fortress.

May 2, 2023,3. Etappe von Gailingen nach Schaffhausen und zurück
Today we had to sleep in a bit. When the sun is shining, a short tour with the aim of the Rhine Falls in Schaffhausen. A must if you are on holiday here on Lake Constance. Long breaks on the way, looking for and finding quiet places, enjoying the beautiful weather and the beautiful landscape........

🏡 Arrival in Büsingen am Hochrhein. As soon as we unpacked our bags, it was clear: no time for lazing around! So, on our bikes 🚴‍♀️ and off towards Schaffhausen.
🏰 First destination: the Munot. Bravely pedaled up the hill and enjoyed the view. Beautiful! Unfortunately, all the climbing had an unexpected side effect… Thirst! No, actually: huge thirst! 🥵💦

Did a bike ride to the Rhine Falls from a beautiful RV park. Then walked around there and made a boat tour. 🤩
...changed a tube on Leith's bike both on the outward and return tour 😆 and then finally forgot to stop komoot and didn't think about it until after the shower 🙈🤷‍♀️😇
...but it was a wonderful day …

Today, I enjoyed a great tour in perfect weather from Gailingen to the Rhine Falls in Schaffhausen. There were few people there, but unfortunately, there was also very little water. Overall, though, it was a very nice tour along the banks of the Rhine, with vineyards and beautiful springtime wildlife.
