The benches are really very lovingly decorated. In warm temperatures they are wonderful benches to rest.

North of the ridge of the Ebbegebirge lies the Oestertalsperre, which is a nice milestone on the way to Attendorn. The dam is popular with water sports enthusiasts and anglers, at the right temperatures you can swim in it.

A bit steep it goes up in a valley. I wondered if you can walk there even in heavy rain or snowmelt. The path could also be a riverbed =).

Something has to be improvised on the tour. One path is completely gone due to forest work, another is no longer accessible. A large area has been reforested there and a high fence has been built around the area!

Unfortunately, the hiking trail is currently hardly accessible, as most of the paths have been completely destroyed by the tree felling work. The bad weather did the rest....

Parked at the free 🅿️ by the dam, you go up on the other side, directly behind the crash barrier. We first took the slope path (PO1), which then leads us to the 2nd 🅿️ where the A1 starts. Via Enneshahn, the A1 now leads up to Waldmin. The next village is Brenscheid before going up to the highest point …
