If you love alpine tours, the circular route in the Vosges is the right place for you. Up to the Hohneck summit you roam through forests with moss-covered trees. If you are lucky you can see mountain goats there. From Hohneck it goes through a forest past the Krappenfelsen to the beautiful Frankenthal. Definitely visit the grotto Dagobert.
