Melkspitze 1936 m a.s.l.

Highlight • Summit

The Melkspitze belongs to the Walserkamm and can only be reached via a challenging ridge path.

The path has exposed and craggy spots and is only recommended in dry conditions. Coming from Gerenspitze to the Melkspitze there is a craggy place secured with a rope. The way from the Melkspitze to the Tälispitze is a bit easier, but still narrow and requires surefootedness and a head for heights.

And yes, as on the entire Walserkamm, the views are simply stunning, and this ridge path is an absolute highlight for experienced hikers.

Tälispitze

Highlight • Summit

The views from the Tälispitze are stunningly beautiful!

The Tälispitze can be reached via the Gassneralpe using the technically easy T2 route. In the downward gear, the upper part then requires a little surefootedness, but everything within a harmless, absolutely feasible framework.

Igelkopf

Highlight • Summit

The Igelkopf belongs to the Walserkamm and can therefore also be reached via a ridge path with great views.

The path from the Tschöppa Jagdhütte via the Igelkopf to the Tälispitze is signposted, as the Austrians often say: "only for experienced hikers".

The path leads from the Tschöppa Jagdhütte first harmlessly through the forest. A somewhat overgrown path between some "undergrowth". Further up, the forest ends and the actual ridge path begins and gets a little narrower, but all within a manageable framework (similar to the Kreuzspitze, if you know it). The view keeps getting better and more beautiful. A great and quiet way to the Tälispitze 😍😍!
