March 30, 2023,Laatzen - Leinemasch & Auwald 🌳🦆🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️

The three of us were out and about in the Laatzener Leinemasch and in the Auwald today, and there was very little going on there 👍😍. We saw deer & rabbits, various waterfowl, lots of snails 🐌 (sitting up to 5 m high on the trees!!), brimstone butterflies, sparrowhawks, nuthatches, woodpeckers and a stork. However, the white-tailed eagles living there …

I give 5 stars for this wonderful hike along the Leine and - where possible - along the Alte Leine, through the Grasdorfer Masch and the Koldinger Holz on great paths, narrow trails and along many a turf.
