Perfect lane to bypass the busy road into guildford. Some blind bends so proceed with care. Can also get some queues at busy periods (afternoon rush hour seems to be worst!).

Reasonably quiet climb on the edge of the Surrey Hills, compared to some others in the area. Good views and decent tracks but without the crowds.

Fields below the Chantries, quiet with lovely views.

The St. Catherine's Length of the River Wey passes through Guildford towards Broadford. This section runs alongside the National Cycle Network Route 22 through a wide open public green space, which is popular for water sports and many city residents and office workers, particularly in the summer.

For many that cycle the Downs Link, but chose to follow the National Cycle Network Route 22 into Guildford centre (and railway station), rather than head onto the North Downs Way, this might indicate the end of the journey.
