Fantastic panoramic road, whether you go clockwise or anti-clockwise.
Both climbs are paved and roughly single lane. The cross connection is a very good track.
I found both climbs to be very quiet on a Sunday and Monday in June.
Ravascletto is a good starting point. There are plenty of parking spaces.

Beautiful circular tour, the first 15 km of climb are leg-breaking, but as you get to the top, it appears to be an excellent refuge that is a must-see.
