Ladybower Wood Nature Reserve

Highlight • Natural

Only 16 hectares in size, the Ladybower Wood Nature Reserve sits between Ladybower Reservoir and Derwent Edge and is one of Derbyshire's last remaining examples of semi-ancient upland woods.

The nature reserve is easily accessible from the A57 up a well-trodden path by the Ladybower Inn or as we did, via the bridleway from the Cutthroat Bridge car park.
