Here you have a beautiful view of the Lech. The flows at this point directly on the way and shimmers in great turquoise. In the background the mountains rise. A great sight.

The Forggensee is a paradise for water sports enthusiasts in summer and in winter, when it is drained, you can hike on its bottom.

A very nice tour with a change of country to Austria, beautiful trails, and lots of lakes.... Unfortunately, the weather wasn't so good towards the end⛈️💦; but what the heck, when it gets wet, you (we) physically challenge yourself like a race track. 😂💪🏼🚴‍♀️🚵‍♂️ We found the trails very nice and easy to ride; however, we have wide tires and …

Super nice panoramic tour. If you like, you can take a closer look at the castles and palaces. We got really wet today at the Alpsee: we were really exposed to the wet element in the storm with large hailstones 🥶💦☔🌩️⚡Now I know how great shelters can …

A beautiful route despite the few castles, the scenery is a dream. At Hohenschwangau Castle 🏰, there were crowds, which was a nightmare for me. Discussions about the elevation gain (I'll be interested in it when it's time), but you have to check beforehand 🙈 The more elevation gain, the fewer cyclists.😊

Highly recommended! Magnificent lake, mountain, river scenery. Cow bells, rolling green pastures, classic Bavarian architecture, Neuschwanstein, mostly on excellent cycle paths. The guy at the bike shop described the ride as 'pretty boring'. Well, maybe if you're a long term resident it is. But to an Aussie tourist it was bloody fantastic!
Really great tour with beautiful bike paths. Be careful around Neuschwanstein, pedestrians don't have to be careful on the street either.

Nice round to drive with a few detours to the ruins in the Füssen area. The short detour to the Breitenbergbahn was worth it. You can hike wonderfully at the top. To Bad Kiesinger Hütte and then to Aggenstein. The end of the tour is Neuschwanstein Castle. Not to be neglected are of course the Hopfensee and the Alpsee on …

This wonderful bike tour starts in picturesque Schwangau – at the foot of the world-famous royal castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau. From there, the route first goes to Füssen and then on to the idyllic Hopfensee. The lake offers stunning views of the Allgäu Alps – including the Zugspitze on clear days.

This morning, as the rain began to fall, we set off cycling along beautiful paths to Füssen to the outdoor outlet. It really poured down there, and there were loads of people there looking for something to do in the rain. So we just took a quick look around and carried on. Eventually, it got brighter and even dry!
