July 20, 2025,Waldwege bei Lorsbach – View over the Lorsbach valley loop from Kelkheim
Lovely hike. Easy to navigate. Some parts of the trail have quite sharp rocks but they arent loose. Wear good shoes with proper treading. The view at the top of the first peak is wonderful , I wish I rested there longer.

At the beginning, like last Sunday, we had …

From the "Gimbacher Hof" in Kelkheim to the "Großen Mannstein" via the Staufen to the "Kaisertempel" in Eppstein, the "Mendelssohn-Bartholdy-memorial stone", past Lorsbach - this time skipping the Hasenberg - and back to the "Gundelhardt" restaurant Kelkheim... and that in glorious weather and very warm temperatures. An ice cream in Kelkheim was the end.
As live …
