Marienberg Fortress

The fortress was built on a mountain tongue on the left side of the Main about 100 meters above the river. The west side is the only flat side of the mountain. On the north side are the gardens and allotments that were created in the course of the State Horticultural Show in 1990. The other two mountain slopes are vineyards.
