You could decide to a avoid the main road between Stratton (when you come the Cycleway) and Maiden Newton by getting onto the NCN26 to Maiden Newton which runs parallel to the main road, via Bradford Peverill, Frampton and Cruxton. This is a very nice route but the minor road become a track and then become unsuitable for road bikes. …
