Lovely weather, beautiful walk, good company. In short, a great day for my walking heart 💚👣

Wonderful tour from Kraaijenberg visitor center. From the observation tower on the steep edge of the Brabantse Wal you have a great view of the former outer-dike area of the Oosterschelde. The Delta Works created a new lake: the Markiezaatmeer. The tour leads, among other things, to a bird hide, farm Hildernisse (which used to be outside the dikes), and …

South of Bergen op Zoom there is a beautiful nature reserve. This small piece of nature has been known for centuries for its enormous diversity.

Parking is possible at the Kraaijenberg visitors center in Bergen-op-Zoom. Junction 18-70-59-58-57-7-95-8-76-77-75 - over the track you can follow a part of the red route before you turn to junction 72-71-18.
You can eat something in the Mattenburgh orangery or the Hildernisse farm, maybe check the opening hours first. You can also find walking routes on an information board.

We walk this route more often. Simply because it is so beautiful.

Car parked on spacious P. A little further than the exit to no. 21. Little forest, lots of meadow. The part where the cows and horses run loose I stopped after about 200 meters because on every path there was a part of a herd. Nice to see.
