Yes, but... The rating "difficult tour" is definitely accurate. We cycled from Ahlbeck to Stettin on the east side of the St.Haff. There were challenging climbs there (south of Misdroy). …

Today we continued in the direction of Berlin, always along the Oder. Wonderful peace and good bike paths. The city of Schwedt has also blossomed over the years and is worth a stroll.

On well-maintained paths along the river. The landscape was very uniform and invited cycling meditation. Beyond Gartz, the route continued through the forest. Tree roots had caused some damage. But these spots were marked in white and thus easy to see. In Mescherin, we reboarded the ship, and instead of a packed lunch, we had an excellent lunch.

We went on one last tour with our bike rack in the best weather. The destination was the Lower Oder Valley National Park, where we love to go. We've had this tour on our radar for a while. It went from Schwedt to Gartz. Gartz really surprised us. A cute little town with a city wall and other sights. An …

The tour started in Schwedt in the car park at the bulwark right next to the Oder and Oder-Neisse cycle paths.
What seems a bit boring at first glance is, depending on the direction of travel and the changed perspective, very interesting. Anyway, enjoyed the tour. Especially the lunch break in the restaurant and guesthouse zum Mühlenteich, right on the …

Today, a little after sunrise... (which I caught glimpses of on the train near Angermünde, photos 1 and 2)... I arrived in Schwedt. It was just a stone's throw through the mist to the Alte Oder (Old Oder). The Oder, just over a kilometer east of the polder, can be seen as a steaming, swirling river. It doesn't just look …

Today we only have a short bike tour from Schwedt to Mescherin. After the tour briefing we took our 🚲🚲 and went quite comfortably in the direction of Mescherin in wonderful 🌞🌞🌞. Most of the route took us along a superbly developed cycle path, always on the dike. In the minimal forest sections we enjoyed the scent of the forest …
