Gravel Descent to Edensor

Highlight (Segment) • Climb

This descent into Edensor is a real treat. Fast and long, it takes you over loose rocks and gravel with occasional deep ruts and big stones to pop air off. It can be a little technical in places (especially after wet weather) but easily ridable on MTB or a gravel bike.

View of Chatsworth House

Highlight • Viewpoint

Great views of the Chatsworth Estate, even better when there's no traffic, just watch out for the sheep

The ride down to Chatsworth from Beeley is fantastic. Fast and flowing with plenty of jumping and rocks dodging thrown in to the mix. A real highlight in this area and of course, there’s Chatsworth Park to enjoy afterwards and maybe a coffee or ice cream at the quaint little cafe in Edensor

26.2 km

A fun fast descent is also a good long climb that starts on tarmac becomes an undulating green lane farm track before finally steeper and rockier near the top.
