The beaches in this area all seem to have groins / jetties to stop coastal erosion and stop the pebbles being washed away. There are no sand beaches, they all seem to be small to medium size stone beaches. Many areas have loads of pebbles washed up onto the concrete shore lines. At times you have to dismount and push the bike through these sections, or try to pick a compact line furthest away from the beach side

February 11, 2023,Middleton - Lobster Pot

Coastal wander for sunset. Parking at the free area in Middleton, head down sea lane and the coastal path is right there and takes you all the way along to Bognor if you wish. We stopped at the Lobster pot for a brew before wandering back for dark.
