Pete's Eats Cafe

Highlight • Cafe

Nothing short of an institution, Pete's Eats is the only place to be when rain cancels play Llanberis. Of all the food and drink available on the impressively extensive menu, the pint sized mug of tea is the product the café is synonymous with. It's as much a Snowdonia rite of passage as the traverse of Crib Goch's main ridge.

Drws Y Coed Climb

Highlight • Viewpoint

The Nantlle or Drws Y Coed climb is a Snowdonia classic and a Strava segment to boot. It is logged on Procycling.uk as one of the top 7 Welsh high passes to do. It has 153m of height gain over its 4.3km length coming from Nantlle.

Whilst it is a stiff climb in places the scenery is fabulous all the way from Nantlle passing the peaks of the iconic Nantlle ridge, including Mynydd Drws Y Coed itself. This is a ride not to be missed.

Llanberis Lake Railway

Highlight • Structure

Not been on this myself but on a conversation with a member of the public I'm told it's a wonderful journey around to the north side of the lake away from the hustle and bustle of the South side
