Burford

Highlight • Settlement

The town is very pretty, but the roads from Carterton are blocked, and the highway doesn't even have a shoulder. It's uncomfortable and dangerous.

Field Path Entrance

Highlight • Trail

Depending on the time of year, the transition from the road to the dirt road can be difficult to recognize due to the vegetation.

Burford Town Centre

Highlight • Historical Site

Discover tearooms, independent shops, and many fantastic pubs and restaurants in the medieval town of Burford. The town is situated at the gateway to the Cotswolds and is well-known for its picturesque value.

Burford Village

Highlight • Historical Site

Sometimes known as the Gateway to the Cotswolds this is one of the prettiest villages in England. Worth looking inside the church for some interesting civil war history. I’d recommend stopping at Huffkins bakery for one of their Chelsea buns as they are legendary, they also have some space around the back for bikes.

Lynwood & Co Cafe, Burford

Highlight • Cafe

Lynwood offers some of the best coffee in the Cotswolds. The Burford coffee house is a lovely place right on the high street. Get a window seat and it's excellent for people watching. They also have a water tap inside for refilling bidons. High;y recommended if you like your coffee.
