August 20, 2023,Kreuzboden - Bergstation Hohsass

Acclimatization tour from Kreuzboden to the Weissmieshütte and via the "Path of 18 four-thousanders" to the Hohsass mountain station. Very nice, lonely mountain tour - always with a magnificent view of the 4000m peaks.

After parking my bike at Kreuzboden, I set off for the Weissmies Hut. After a short break, I continued on to Hochsaas. There, I visited the glacier lake and watched several rope teams coming down from the Weissmies. After a long break, I headed back. There was already no one left at Kreuzboden.
