San Donato Gate, Lucca

It rises on the northwest tilt of the walls between the strongholds of San Donato and Santa Croce. It is one of the best preserved of the city gates of Lucca. The outer facade is supported by the central body surmounted by a large triangular tympanum with rectangular divided by moldings and marble borders.
