Nice dream loop with individual short climbing passages.
Wire ropes are available to help where you have to "climb" a bit. Not a via ferrata in the sense that you need via ferrata equipment!

Very nice round with ups and downs 😅 there is a lot to discover, unfortunately the water levels are also very low here 🧐 but it is fun to hike through the gorge, with some climbing passages 💪🏼. The short detour to the ruin should be taken 😉. In any case, you need fitness, endurance, good shoes and surefootedness 👍🏼🥾💪🏼

We were very lucky with the weather. While it was foggy all around, luckily the sun was shining on the way!
All in all, the Baybachklamm dream loop is always a highlight. The little detour via Waldeck Castle was also worth it.

Today finally ran the dream loop Baybachklamm. However, I have also planned the Waldeck castle ruins. It is divided into Upper Castle and Lower Castle. You don't even need to go to the upper castle. Even I can't get in there and you can't see anything from the outside. The lower castle is a bit overgrown and looks somehow mystical. …

Like the Ehrbachklamm and the Ehrenburg mountain gorge path before it, the Baybachklamm is also a very beautiful tour.

We supplemented the tour with a detour along an adventurous path to the Waldeck castle ruins.

Did a nice tour 🥾 with @Wo ist Andreas today, very varied, beautiful views and a lot along the water. The Schmausenmühle 🌺🌻🍔🍟 offers a rustic rest stop

This morning I didn't really know what to do... I looked at my list and lo and behold, the Baybachklamm is just the right place for this kind of weather... Dry paths, now enough water in the creek and pleasant temperatures .
It's a bit of a drive and I'll probably plan the next dream loops with overnight stays and …

A magnificent circular hike that undoubtedly deserves the name "Dream Loop." Even the sections not directly along the Baybach stream are truly beautiful. Definitely a must-do!

However, the regular 10km was a bit too short for me, so I extended the loop a bit further downstream. 4km more, but worth it.

Today I switched to the wrong side of the Moselle. Round with a lot of path part. And just the way I like it: hilly, bumpy & muddy. Not so many highlights along the route, but almost always with water and rock accompaniment. Compliments to the copywriters of the information boards. Very nicely written. Small shortcoming on the round. In …
