The Rugnux Tunnel is the lowest circular loop tunnel of the Albula Railway on the Bergün-Preda section in the canton of Graubünden (Switzerland). It has a length of 662 meters. The three roundabout tunnels and four Albula viaducts (crossing the valley) allow the gain in height, whereby the principle of an adhesion track (static friction of the wheels) comes into play here.

A great hike with challenging sections, mainly along the Albula. Return by train, which changes sides of the valley four times, in loops, through tunnels.
