Starting at lunchtime, and even though the sun was hiding behind the clouds today, this short hike was just the thing for a relaxing afternoon. The varied route, the rustic alpine pasture, and the enchanting forest at the end rounded off the day – a beautiful tour, even in less than perfect weather.

After breakfast to the Kälberstein Chapel, our boarding mother invited us to the parish fair. This always takes place there in September. A small circle, with a rifle club (thunder and smoke from many pipes) and music band, even harp and bass were dragged up the mountain. It was a very nice and special experience.
