Ran one of my favorite routes in perfect weather. Beautiful views! It's also a really nice hike.

Today we ran with shoe chains (RUD Quickstep).

Advantages over lightweight crampons (Grödel): It is not necessary to take them off on stony passages or short asphalt stretches and the step glides better over the snow.

Disadvantage: Significantly less grip on ice.
