The place has retained much of its original charm and has not yet been developed for tourism. On the way to the lighthouse and through the village we almost only met locals.

At the end of our stay in Mallorca, we visited the east of the island today - including the port of Portocolom. The sun 🌞 we had already packed to bring it home safely 😄
Nonetheless, the place undoubtedly has charm and there was no sign of tourism at all on New Year's Day.

This was definitely one of my shortest hikes/walks, but also one of the most beautiful! The port of Portocolom stretches a fair distance and is mostly dominated by private yachts and smaller pleasure craft. There are also small fishing boats and providers of jet skis, motor boat rentals, etc.
