Singletrack Trail in North York Moors National Park

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

VERY STEEP CLIMB, hard even on an e-bike. Some bits were very OVERGROWN and it was hard to see where the path went, even in December when everything is dying back. Going down was better though, but even then it was hard to see where to go through. VERY BOGGY in places.

Cammon Stone

Highlight • Monument

Many believe that the Cammon Stone is one of the oldest standing in the Moors. It probably dates to before the end of the Bronze Age. You will find on the word 'Hallelujah' in Hebrew; potentially by an Ingleby vicar in the 19th century.

Bloworth Crossing

Highlight • Viewpoint

Bloworth Crossing used to be a railway crossing. The railway line (carrying iron ore) ran from Battersby to Rosedale for 11 miles. These days, it is a cycling and walking/hiking heaven. Easy, comfortable tracks to ride on with preposterously beautiful views in just about any direction your heart directs you to look at!

Round Hill, at 1,490 feet (454m), marks the highest point in the North York Moors National Park. It is located on the summit of the atmospheric and beautiful Urra Moor.

The views north and south are spectacular, and whilst the summit views don't boast craggy rock faces that are common to this area, the vastness of the surrounding fells provides a real sense of peace.

Cock Rock

Highlight (Segment) • Climb

Open and fast singletrack with lots of line options and lots of loose rocks. Watch out for your bike frame on this one!
