A wonderful Sunday.
wonderful weather.
Start at the Wiesenbeker pond in the Harz Mountains.
The first destination was the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Kloster Walkenried". A large monastery area.⛪
The remaining ruins only give an idea of how huge the cathedral must have been. The buildings that have survived to this day have been carefully restored.
