We weren't ready to return to our accommodation yet, so we simply stopped and looked for a signpost, which we found. The fact that we were heading to Grundmühle was pure coincidence, just like running into an acquaintance.
The path was beautifully shady, and a small stream ran alongside it, offering plenty of opportunities to cool our sore feet.
