Pwllcrochan Cove

Highlight • Natural

Pwllcrochan is one of the havens for the community of grey seals
that live here. Around late August, September and October they are born in quiet coves like this one and nearby Pwll Deri.

Pembrokeshire Coast Path: View Towards Strumble Head

This is a superb stretch of coast, with views towards Strumble Head, Garn Fawr and out to sea. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is one of the UK's best long-distance coastal trails, a magnificent 186-mile (300 km) journey.

Pwll Deri

Highlight • Natural Monument

A really spectacular section of coast with views from the car park of the peninsula to the north, Penbrush, where volcanic action has produced pillow lava. Behind is the high point of the iron age hill fort of Garn Fawr and in front is Dinas Mawr an Iron Age promontory fort.

Garn Fawr Summit

Highlight • Viewpoint

With the beautiful view of Pwll Deri behind you, the climb to the trig point atop Garn Fawr is a short climb gaining about 100m in elevation from the road, but rewarding you with fantastic views across Strumble Head. Or if you don't feel like the climb today, there is always the option to bypass it to the north or south of the outcrop.

Garn Fawr is the high point in this area of the coastal path. The trig point stands at 699 feet (213 m). It's close to Strumble Head and has a car park next to it.
