Highlight • Viewpoint

From this observation tower you have a great view over the mountains and the bike park Spicak. It costs five crowns to climb.

Downhill fans are sure to be familiar with this bike park: the trails here are not for the faint of heart. June 25, 2023,2023 - Tschechien - Von Hojsova Stráž-Brčálník zum Černé Jezero (Teufelssee) und über den Špičák (Spitzberg)
It was supposed to be a warm-up and acclimatization tour for the holiday. Originally 11.6 km with about 500 meters of altitude were planned. Through replanning and various adjustments, it quickly became 15.5 and finally 16.3 km.
It doesn't matter ... it was a challenging and at the same time super beautiful and very varied hike: forest paths, forest roads …

We started at the Hotel Karl car park. Parking is chargeable, you can pay with crowns or with a card, unfortunately the kiosk and the restaurant were closed. Unfortunately, the lookout tower on Špičák was also closed. But otherwise it was a nice tour

Beautiful scenic hike.
Although marked as difficult in the hiking book, not a big challenge. The way back is unfortunately on the tarred road.
Had a wonderful fun hiking day with very nice company
