A beautiful stage, the roads better paved than in the previous section. The scenery was also more attractive. At the northern end of the Tunnel de Saint-Albain (a 641-meter-long underground canal, opened in 1880), I just managed to grab an ice cream in the garden restaurant before it, too, closed.

The night was terrible because I got acute conjunctivitis. Therefore, first consult a doctor and let the drops work until the afternoon. Started around 4 p.m., bathed in the Saone on the way and finally reached Gray at 10 p.m.
28 degrees, hardly any wind.

Today we mostly went along the Saone to Grey.
As usual, it was quite quiet with few people.
