It was wonderful to be out and about again. And then it was so unexpectedly beautiful. First I was finally able to recover the cache at Sälischloss and thus get closer to the challenge. Then it stayed dry with, yes, sunny periods... wonderful.

From Olten train station, we followed the signs for the Via Gottardo. The green "Seven" led us beautifully along the Aare River to the Ruttigen retirement home. From there, we climbed over awakening meadows up to the Restaurant Höfli above Aarburg - with a magnificent view of the village, river and the Aarburg Fortress.
