This is where the Silvapark via ferrata starts on the 2,671 meter high Ballunspitze on the border between Tyrol and Vorarlberg. After the ascent with the Birkhahnbahn you follow the path to the entrance for about 30 minutes. The difficulty is mostly B/C, but in two places it is C/D. You climb through the dark north face to the summit, where you can enjoy fantastic views of the Silvretta and the Rätikon. The best season for the via ferrata is from June to October.
