A conciliatory end to our hiking and mountaineering holiday in the Valais (Saas Valley). After our planned ascent of the Dom did not work out and the alternative tour to the Alphubel was also cancelled due to the weather, we ended up going back to Zermatt and up to the hut on the Hörnligrat (normal route to the Matterhorn).
