July 26, 2022,Kristberg - Hasahüsli - Fellimännle - Silbertal
Today it was rather cloudy after the thunderstorms of the night and a path had to be taken that can also be walked in bad weather. This was quickly found with the Kristberg - Fellimännle tour. You hike here mainly on forest roads and you can skip the few shortcuts on mountain paths if necessary. We particularly liked the 30 …

The Kristbergbahn rocked us comfortably this morning from Silberberg to the 1443 meter high Kristberg. Of course, this is just a small dwarf in the potpourri of the mountains here, all of which are over 2000 meters; but a pretty one. In the advertising brochures of the local tourism associations, the Kristberg is often referred to as a family mountain. …

Splendid weather this morning, easy and pleasant hike, starting from the Kristberg over the Wildried down to Hasahüsli and back to the village of Silbertal. Conclusion for today: it was nice again 🤩

The hike begins in the tranquil mountain village of Silbertal. Silver was mined here until 500 years ago. The path goes slightly uphill along the Litzbach until the Teufelsbach falls into the Litzbach with a great roar. Shortly after the Fellimännle alpine hut, we hike along the legend hiking trail on the other side of the valley through the beautiful …

The third and last day was also mixed in terms of weather.
The hike in the Silbertal began with the gondola ride (Kristbergbahn) up to the mountain station.
Monika, our current mountain guide, welcomed us there.
Relaxed, but with rain we went over to the Wasserstubental to Pauline on the lower Wasserstubenalpe.
Beautifully situated alp, dear Pauline and wonderful cheese …

Today we walked along the legends trail in cloudy weather. There are quite a few elevation gains at the beginning as it goes downhill to the Bruderhüsli, but it was worth it. There are small history/rest stops every 2 km or so, and overall everything is very nicely done. But it does extend the tour beyond the planned 5 hours.

It goes gently down towards Silbertal on mostly easy forest paths. Under no circumstances should you miss the Untere Wasserstubenalpe, which is run by a lovely, friendly and lovely couple. The secret thirst quencher is highly recommended (also the home-baked bread). The valley in which the Unter Wasserstubenalpe is located is a dream. We continue along the water back to …
