Hiking trail along the Schwarzach Gorge

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

The hiking trail above the Schwarzachklamm is a walkable footpath. Again and again there is a nice view into the gorge, but be careful, danger of falling.

After a thunderstorm was forecast in the Alps, an alternative was needed.
Checked the weather and decided on the classic Schwarzachklamm. It's been 3 years since the last visit.

A very pleasant tour, and not so hot in the summer thanks to the gorge. The beer garden at the start/finish is fantastic ✌🏽

At our starting point is a small free parking lot, which we use for an evening stroll and for an overnight stay -> also a perfect stopover on a longer hike towards the Alps. The trail through the Schwarzach Gorge is varied and exciting – it's likely to be very busy during the day and on weekends. A reward awaits …

A hike through the Schwarzachklamm and along the Ludwig-Donau-Main Canal is saved in my tour memory. The Nuremberg-Feucht rest area on the A9 is an ideal starting point for this hike. So on the way back from Garmisch-Partenkirchen we spontaneously decided to take a break at the rest area for a hike through the autumnal landscape.
At the end of …

...Guys, guys, guys 🤓 Today 🙃, on the Protestant holiday, we headed first to Middle Franconia, near Nuremberg/Feucht, more precisely to Schwarzenbruck. After a very generous lunch at the "Goldener Hirsch" in Burgthann, we immediately set off on a tour of Schwarzenbruck. A short loop on both sides of the Schwarzach Gorge was the plan. Said and done. We parked …

Again, parts of the path are closed again - as in so many places unfortunately...here you simply turn a slightly larger arc through the village and then come back on the path...an absolute jungle of signs - but we Germans just do it gladly and seem to have to do it. The Autobahn is quite close, you hear that again …

Small tour with a visit through the Schwarzachklamm with a perfect landing in the beer garden, before the world quickly came to an end🌧️🌧️ - we were already sitting under a large umbrella🍺

On the way back from the Zugspitze there was a short stop in Feucht near Nuremberg. After all the mountains, a hike without many meters of altitude was on the program today. The choice then fell on a walk through the Schwarzach Gorge. This shines through paths in the rock, as well as some caves. The canal very close by …
