St. Maximilian Church, Grabenstätt

Highlight • Religious Site

The parish church of St. Maximilian, thoroughly renovated in recent years, dates back to the Gothic period (1430), including its tower and chancel.

Destroyed by fire in 1834, the nave was rebuilt in the Neo-Romanesque style. The magnificent interior paintings were created by the Traunstein painter Max Fürst (1876).

The church is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., as well as during services, and by appointment through the Catholic Parish Office in Grabenstätt.
